The MBS-Strategy: The Human Body

I find it rather interesting that the first thing Adam and Eve did when they were enlightened by the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, was to hide from God. They quickly realized they are naked and vulnerable, and this filled them with shame and fear. But there is much more to this story.

In this world we walk around with body image disorders, the expectancy of what should be, and an idea of what we should look like, feel like, and even love like. But if you really go down into the psyche of humanity, you will find all kinds of extremes from obesity to the size of your we-we.

Do you love your body? Can you see your body in peak physical condition? The truth is, we are all responsible for the condition of our aesthetics through our own thoughts and actions. Whether you want to be skinny or fat, it depends on you.

I can dig down even deeper if you wanted me to. I mean Adam and Eve had EVERYTHING in the garden except that one thing that God said was “not good for them”, and well, with a desire for MORE, they indulged. They cursed themselves with the realization of who they are. Only Human.

Perhaps Adam had a small we-we compared to the serpent who had sex with Eve, and perhaps Eve was a little chubby because she wanted MORE? I don’t think we understand the full significance of this parable, but the psyche of mankind is exemplified by stories God shared with us in the Scriptures that are left for us.

Congratulations! You have made it to step 2 of the MBS-Strategy. May this bless you with the ‘know-how-to’ transform your own physique.

The 2nd step of the MBS-Strategy will be aimed at teaching you everything you need to know to create a healthy strong physique through daily physical movement and real nuritious food.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, who you have received from God? 6:19

For just a moment, think of your physical body as a brand-new sports car. If you don’t take care of it, the cost of maintaining the car will be way more than you ever expected. However, if you put only the best fuel into your tank, you can put your foot on the gas and experience exhilaration.

As it is written in the book of clichés, “What you put in is what you get out.”

The complexity of who we are is in of itself a miracle, and the workmanship and creativity that’s gone into every detail challenges Darwin’s Theory of evolution. The Scriptures say we are made to represent the Light. It’s a desire we all share as the body of Christ. It’s in our blood.

As it is written, “You are the light of the world. Made to shine Matthew 5:14

Whether or not humanity came into existence through evolution, faith-based creationism, or the big bang theory. The important thing is to know that we have been blessed with talents and abilities that we can use to bless others.

As it is written, “God blessed them and said to them, be fruitful and multiply,” Genesis 1:28

To conquer our human nature and become co-creators with God, we must first see ourselves through His eyes. We are way more than slaves. We are more than the world tells us, and we are way more than our physical limitations. We’re infinite spiritual beings made in His image to multiply and create something amazing.

“God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” – Genesis

It’s only when we start to see the human body as a sacred vessel of His divine nature that we can care for ourselves the way we ought to. And in the next few weeks you will learn how to go from surviving to thriving as a living organism.

While we have our being in this physical world, we are bound to laws like thermodynamics and gravity. If we understand how they work, we can better care for our bodies, the way we ought to.

On this journey, you will face resistance, and this will force you to think and reflect on your own decisions and how they line up with your desires. You are the Captain of your ship. But the desire to ask, seek, knock, and find must burn inside.

As it is written, “You can take a horse to the water, but you cannot make him drink.”Somewhere in the Bible

Pay close attention to this moment in time. Today you are learning everything you need to know for tomorrow, so don’t try and learn the lessons of tomorrow today. Focus on this moment right now.

Trying to change from a worm (consumer) to a butterfly (producer) without going through the metamorphosis of your own soul will be nothing more than wishful thinking. It’s only when we have a deep-rooted desire for “One Thing” that we will go in search thereof with passion.

Many people accept only what the world has to offer. Driven by the human desire for satisfaction with a fear of missing out they try to avoid the loss of life. And perhaps just like them, you have been conditioned to think, say, and do things that aren’t good for you or your family’s health.

All of us NEED fresh air, clean water, good food, physical strength, safety, touch, sex, sleep, and personal space (habitat) for our health to flourish. In the next 3 weeks, I’ll cover these topics in the MBS-Strategy; to transform the way you feel inside. That is where change takes place.

Make it your mission to internalize all of the information, visualize it, try to understand it, and meditate on it. Have a desire for it. Be hungry to learn more. Focus on every step you take and learn to crawl before you walk, walk before you run, and run before you start to fly with God.

The thing you need to understand is that your mind is the control center, but the control center is programmed by your heart, that is where your spirit resides. God want you to unite with Him like a man and wife who becomes One, and then your mind will be governed by His heart of love.

Throughout this course you will hear about God, and slowly but surely your heart will be set on Him through a meditative state that lasts for hours, even days if you are drawn to Him.

The human body is designed to feel and experience sensual pleasures or pain. We all want to feel good and we all want to be loved. There is nothing in the world that feels better than climaxing with the one you love, and that is why I started with Man who cheated on God.

We were made to procreate, but if the desire controls our actions to the extent that we say YES when we should say NO, then we will cause destruction for ourselves and people we love.

God wants us to become more like Him that we may rule over the flesh, to do what we know is good for us, and embody the self-control to say NO and mean it. Temptation will always be there in different forms, and if it wasn’t tempting, then we wouldn’t be tempted. But we are stronger.

If this natural urge, call it “The Beast”, is not controlled, then your attempts at being “good” will be quite miserable. What I mean is, you will struggle to lose the weight, or get into SHAPE because you have not been very successful at controlling “The Beast” that is controlling you.

Start by cleaning your space. The environment you find yourself in. Is it congruent with who you want to become, or what you want to walk like? If you don’t remove the things that tempt you, they will eventually get to you when you are weakened by the onslaught of the world.

Your body, your home, and your mind space should be clean, baptized if you want to call it that. You need to walk into the next day with a feeling that you have left the past in the past, and you are now moving towards God.

Your environment is the space you find yourself in right now. When you think of the word ‘Space‘, what comes to mind? Is it the bubble you are sub-consciously surrounding yourself with? Or is it the uncomfortable conversation you’re about to have with your wife because you can’t deal?

To each of us, personal space will have a slightly different meaning, but at the core of it we find a place where we as individuals can experience the joy that true freedom can bring. This space is a place where we can escape the material world and the things that seemingly enslave us, even if only for a moment in time. What space is yours?

From God’s perspective personal space is the habitat you find yourself in right now. Is this environment hostile? Or does it bring joy? Are there enough resources to live in peace with others and share freely without fear? How about your workplace? Do they respect your hands? And do you enjoy what you do with your time?

Your habitat affects your emotions, which will trigger hormones, and this affects the internal environment of your physiology.

Personal space is the place where we can experience life and the world around us as children do. Without fear for tomorrow, knowing God is there to provide for all.

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Simply believe” – Matthew 18:3

What did you enjoy doing as a kid? What were your dreams and aspirations for life as an adult? Are you actively creating a space for that person to thrive? Or have you been hiding, frozen by fear because you realized how vulnerable you are?

Trusting God means letting go of what you think is “right for you”. So, whether you are in love with skateboarding, dancing, gardening, or fast cars, personal space should be the place where time seemingly stands still. That is where we find joy.

It’s a space where we can authentically express and celebrate ourselves and become filled with so much Light that we forget about things we cannot control. Things other people say or do to manipulate, deceive, and control “what is right”.

Personal space encompasses every basic need we have as humans. Think of it as your natural habitat, the place where you can truly flourish. Personal space is the reality we have all chosen, even if we were silenced by fear not to choose.

We are all raised in a broken world, and all of us have been affected by Original Sin, the temptation of the serpent, and the pride of life, and therefore all of us come from a broken place in history; and this ‘spiritual reality’ has shaped us to live with a lack mentality. It’s time for change.

Some of us have become enraged, while others leave the conformity of their reality to find a way. What choice will you make? Jesus Christ was willing to die to leave a legacy, which etched His Name in blood, and perpetuated his message throughout eternity for all to hear and see.

Jesus Christ came to earth as the Son of Man and the Son of God to lay down His life for His people. He demonstrated what love looks like. It’s not the butterflies you get in your stomach. Nor the snake in your pants. Love is to suffer for the ones you care about. Who or what are you willing to suffer for? For your family? A legacy?

Your health is an example, if you don’t choose to create an inflammation free environment, your car won’t perform the way it was designed to. Logically think about it. If you don’t consciously create the space (habitat) you need, then how do you expect to live like you are born to thrive?

Whatever you need to do to create a positive ‘personal space’ for yourself and your own family. Do it with all your heart, and with all your might, and don’t give up until you conquer the F. high mountains you are facing right now. Embrace it. Three years from now you will be in a different space and place with new faith in the Unknown.

There are endless possibilities available to us as co-creators with a God who wants to be loved by us. Understanding the infinite power personal space holds will inspire you to create a favorable environment for your creativity and love to grow and flourish in society. Sacrificing your resources to improve your health is the best thing you can do if you are living inside this Babylonian world.

Whoever you are, and whatever your needs may be at this time, you need to create a positive space for your health to flourish. Only you can do that, and the best place to start is with physical training as it will discipline you.

Bodybuilding has become a form of art for me and a space where I can go to release energy while I have some fun and worship God with my heart and a silent song. Our training sessions, dancing routines, and paintings are all moments in time where we can live with fire in our eyes.

You chose to be part of Bodybuilding for Christ because you saw something that stood out, but this platform is also a piece of art written in my own blood that I have brought before God to present His Name before those who want to grow and make all kinds of ‘muscle gains’.

Carine Kruger is a mother of two wonderful boys and a gifted French portrait artist who said that spending money on a Personal Trainer was the best way she could spoil herself with her wealth. She understood the value of choosing health.

Brian Butchart, the CEO of Brenthurst Wealth Management, said when he started working out with me, he planned the gym sessions around his day, but after 3 months he found himself prioritizing the gym and his physical health.

Both of these professional adults made the decision to spend their resources on their physical health because they both wanted to feel good about themselves. All men want to feel respected by their wives and ladies need to feel desired.

We are emotional beings made in the image of God with a natural desire for comfort, pleasure, security, and unconditional love. Being tough on yourself when you need to choose God’s ways is good, because it will make you stronger than you are today. You know what’s good for you.
