According to “What Leaders Really Do”, leaders press for change, while managers create more stability. Professor John Kotter says management and leadership are complementary and the one cannot function efficiently without the other. It’s like a husband and his wife. In rare cases one person can play both roles.
Men and woman have been made by God with different characteristics to fulfill different functions in the home and family. Men are physically strong and able to defend and provide, while woman are sensitive and nurturing, able to cultivate an environment for growth and multiplication. It’s all written in the Holy Bible.
Leadership has nothing to do with the “charisma”, and it’s not the calling of a chosen few. Real leadership is simply the act of stepping up to the plate when you are called to take a swing. You are the one responsible for hitting the ball, and it’s size is arbitrary. True leaders strike with confidence, tenacity, and childlike faith.
Christian leaders are normal men and woman who walk and talk with God in every moment of their waking lives to gain the wisdom and understanding needed for them to show up in this world just like Jesus Christ. Christian leaders will undoubtedly lay down their lives for others if they are led to by the Spirit of Christ.
Leadership is the vocation of Servants
Jesus Christ said, “The first will be last, and the last first.” – Matthew 20:16
God designed the family, the Original Design as male and female, and then He bless them to multiply and fill the earth with His glory. He commanded Adam to care for this amazing gift. In our solar system we are the 3rd rock from the Sun, located in the perfect position for life to flourish. It’s called Eden for a reason.
However, with that being said, I’m sure you are familiar with the story of Adam and Eve? Adam did not lead. We have all failed to listen to God’s wisdom and Bodybuilding for Christ is here to bring awareness to this. We would like to inspire young Christian leaders like you to restore God’s Original Design – The Family
Your children look up to you for guidance and protection, and so does your spouse. Look at God’s Design and His Words, and consider the dynamics of the family. Leadership and management go hand in hand. Manage your household. Put your house in order. Keep it clean. Save for dry seasons. Sow good seeds.
The Bible contains many verses about leadership, love, family, and the Way in which God prepares a man and woman for marriage. If Jesus is your Shepherd and you have been baptized by water and the Holy Spirit, then you can rest easy knowing His Spirit is leading you like the wind blows to create order.
The Leadership Program for a healthy society
This leadership development programs aims to saturate your mind with the heart of Christ to transform you to see what God desires to change in you. Christian leaders are the only real catalysts for change in society and if we truly wish to see a better tomorrow for our children, then we will need to step up and swing.
Leading God’s Way starts with the simple act of seeing and honoring the people in your life as valuable. Submitting to God in prayer, “Let thy will be done in and through me” Many of us think we are doing that, but when we need to put ourselves last, serve, bleed, sacrifice, give, then we are quick to think why me?
None of us want to feel pain, but look at what Jesus did. He gave His own life so we can live in the same way a mother lays down her life to give life to her children. But if your love is not unconditional, then the people you lead and “love” will become liabilities. There are many orphans who were loved conditionally.
You are human, do not judge.
Inspirational Bible Verse for Leadership
“Remember your leaders, those who spoke the Word of God to you. Then consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.” – Hebrews 13
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” – James 1
“Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must first be your servant, for the first will be last and the last will be first.” – Matthew 20
“Not only looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the other people.” – Philippians 2
Christian Leaders have More responsibilities
We need to embody all those aspects of the Feminine-, Masculine-, and Childlike-Spirit in order for us to experience life the way it was intended. Jesus Christ is known as the Trinity Godhead as He is personified through the Unseen Father (Law & Order), the Chosen Son (Grace & Flesh), and the Holy Spirit (Freedom).
Good leadership starts in the home. If you can honor your parents and learn from them, then you can also lead your children and society to Christ. Even if your mother neglected you, and your father abused you, forgive them and set them free. Rise above the anger within, and only then will you be blessed again.
Stepping up as a leader by setting a good example will have a profound effect on the overall wellbeing of your family and community. When we set a strong example and lead with God’s Spirit, then we can be sure of the fact that our children will want to follow.
Christian leaders take note of every individual on their team. They listen to find out what motivates Susan? How can I support Peter’s dreams? By doing that, you acknowledge everyone as valuable people with needs. Men want to feel empowered, and woman want to be valued. Kids just want to enjoy life.
Jesus Christ made us in His image to share His love here on earth. If He has blessed you with a beautiful wife, then He gave you a Big Responsibility. It’s to Represent His Love to her. Learn to obey the Spirit of Christ and you will lead her like a man of God was designed to. She is your helper, to manage your family.
Examples: Bible Verses for Great Leadership
One of the most profound examples of leadership is when God asks Noah to build the Ark that would save his family. Noah has to build the blueprint (design) on his own with the rest of the world mocking him, “Where is your God Noah? Where is the rain Noah? LOL
Abraham was a friend of God, and he was willing to sacrifice his beloved Son when God tested him. But God is not a cruel or hateful or wrathful God, and so He provided a lamb. Abraham received a glorious promise, and he believed, and he left everything to go into the desert where God blessed Him with glory.
Joseph is yet another extraordinary example. God gave him a dream, and when told his brothers about the dream they sold him into slavery. However, it was in this season of imprisonment that the God of Israel was directing his steps to become the leader who would save his family from a very painful death.
John the Baptist is a overlooked and misunderstood leader who wanted no title, and no province, but merely came to direct the way of the LORD and call out the false prophets and serpents. John wasn’t what you would consider a leader from his appearance, but he was truly a profound messenger of God.
