It’s 5 am, and you’re still in bed? If this was “the army” you’d be on the floor. Get up soldier, pray for strength, and make your bed. The only place we can truly thrive is beyond our comfort zone. Let’s go.
We have to do the work, put in EFFORT, and sweat a little as we go through the labour pains of life. God designed it this Way to strengthen us. I’ve seen it happen to so many young men and woman.
I’ve seen how hard work turns a boy into a man, and how childbirth awakens something awe-inspiring within a young woman. We have been blessed with the Spirit of Christ to walk with certainty.
As it is written, “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food, and in pain you will bring forth children.” – God’s Ways
DO THE HARD WORK FIRST
As it is written, “We rejoice in our suffering, knowing our suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces godly character.” – God’s Word
The way you start the day has a noticeable impact on the way you feel throughout the day. Waking up with a fresh outlook on life each day can re-vitalize even the most depressed individual. It just takes a little bit of effort, prayer, and the ability to then get up with heavenly audacity.
Don’t pray like a whiney little ****. Don’t pray like you’re defeated before the day has begun. Pray like someone who knows God works ALL THINGS out for your good, even if you must go through the fire to become redefined by Him, and for Him, that’s why you’re here right, for Christ.
Your body is His Temple. He is not up there somewhere. He is closer than a friend. He is intimate. Invite Him into your day, ask Him to lead the Way, ask Him to bless your hands, to fill them, and to use them for good.
When you start your day in a productive way you will feel proud of accomplishing something good early on in the day, and that will spark more positive action throughout your day.
You don’t need a Specialized Morning Routine or meditation to find success, all you need is to set the tone, and then do it God’s Way. His Way is above fear or doubt, as is His thoughts.
As it is written, “Who knows the things of God except the Spirit of God, which we have received.” – The Disciples
To be a Disciple is to be disciplined, to be taught by God. Imagine you’re in the army and you’re going through practical training to discipline your body, mind, and spirit, and God the Father is the ONLY ONE coaching you to get stronger. That’s exactly what you’re about to step into.
God gave us His Holy Spirit to take us by the hand as the Good Shepherd. He says in His Word that the shepherds he appointed lost sight of their assignment, they fed themselves fat with the best portions, and they neglected the flock. Wolves (in sheep clothing) came in and divided the church.
BASICS OF WARFARE
In the next 40 weeks you will learn to do things God’s Way as you listen to that stern (yet gentle) voice of Wisdom guiding you to say “No” to temptation, to “resist” your enemies, and to “rise” above the fearful identity you’ve been holding onto for so long as a mechanism of survival.
God is always 3 steps ahead of His enemies, He knows them, He laughs at them, and so will you. Learning to be disciplined early on will create a solid foundation on which you can build a beautiful temple for God. When you embrace this fitness journey with Bodybuilding for Christ with a positive attitude, you will win.
To help you accomplish this we’ve designed the workouts to work the entire body in a strategic way as to keep you healthy by not only focusing on things like muscle building and fatloss, but also to ensure we work on the muscles responsible for good posture, on balance and proprioception, and much more.
The first step in warfare is to know your enemy, to call him out by name, and to then rebuke him. As you do you must also embody a feeling of disgust towards this action, thought, or demon. Then chase him away like a stray dog. God’s Spirit will give you the authority to speak piercing words of truth in this situation.
YOUR MISSION (IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT)
“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.” – God’s Word
What I’d like from you is to trust your Coach, wake up early, get the work done, write down the kind of results you want from your day. Write an intimate letter to God and tell your heavenly Father (Matthew 6:33) what you want and why (Matthew 7:7) put it on paper (Habakkuk 2:2).
Make an oath between you and YAHWEH. Then commit to it and just do it.
If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or takes an oath to bind himself with a binding obligation, he shall not violate his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. Deuteronomy 23:21
