JESUS CHRIST
Jesus is the Son of God, and He is also the son of man, making Him fully human and fully God. He is the One who came to show us the Father. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit and blood sacrifice He split the spiritual veil between mankind and God. Reconciling us as it was in Eden.
"FOLLOW ME"
In the past 30 years, I've learned to be humble, and to me that means to accept the fact that I don't know everything. Jesus said if we do not become like children again, we will never see the Kingdom of God. Having child-like wonder for life drives us to seek out mysteries, ask questions, find solutions, and learn through experiences, especially the painful ones. Stay humble.
Jesus revealed Himself to me multiple times throughout my life, not by showing up as the bearded man who glows, but through people like you and me who were used by YHWH to carry a message of hope, love, faith, joy and freedom.
So, if you want to see the Son of God in the flesh, or hear His voice like I have, I pray that you do, and that your faith will increase even as you're reading this. For faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. - Romans 10:17
As it is written in the Scriptures,
"I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me water to drink; as a stranger, you invited me in; I needed clothes and you clothed me; I was sick and you looked after me; I was in prison and you came to visit Me.'
"Then the righteous (religious) answered him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you water to drink? When did we see you as a stranger or give you clothes? When did we see you sick or in prison?'
The King's reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.' - Matthew 24:40
WORD OF GOD
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He (Jesus) was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the dark, and dark cannot overcome Him."
"He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God, children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of the Holy Spirit through the desire of God."
"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is they that bear witness about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life. God is Spirit, worship Him in the Holy Spirit and in truth."
SPIRIT OF GOD
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the eternal waters."
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, and in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth.'"
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. That having been born of the flesh is flesh, and that having been born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel at this."
Jesus said, "But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Holy Spirit will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you, and He will abide forever."
CHILD OF GOD
"The Word became flesh and lived amongst us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."
"Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Spirit descended upon Him like a dove, and a voice came from heaven saying,
"This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."
"It will come to pass in the last days that I will pour My Spirit out on all mankind; your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit."
"If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of God rests on you. The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. And if children, then heirs"
Jesus calls us his brothers and sisters. For in this world we are just like Him. We are God's children. Set apart by Him.
FATHER OF ALL
Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us."
Jesus replied, "Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you then say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me?"
"The Word I speak, I do not speak by My own authority. It is the Holy Spirit in Me performing God's work. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, or believe on account of the these works."
"In Him all things were created; in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and all things hold together in Him."
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as we all were called to one hope when we were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all"
"Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God's authority, so that God, who gave his Son authority over all things, will be supreme over everything everywhere."
Submit to God like Jesus did and He will significantly impact the world through you. Trust Him. He is faithful even in death. That's the beauty of it. We must die (ego).
MYSTERY OF GOD
"Jesus spoke all these things in parables. He did not tell them anything without using a parable. Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Why do You speak to the people in parables?"
He replied, "The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away."
This is why I speak to them in parables: 'Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand, they are spiritually blinded by their sin.'
For this people's heart has grown callous; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and repent (turn back), and I would heal them.'
But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many self-proclaimed prophets and 'righteous men' long to see what you see, but do not see, and hear what you hear, but they cannot hear anything."
"The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The Word I speak to you is spirit and life. Eat them and thrive."
PROMISE OF GOD
"You will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart, and I will be found by you, and then I will restore you from captivity, this declares the LORD."
"When you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey His voice with all your heart and all your soul according to everything I am giving you today, then He will restore you from captivity and have compassion on you and gather you from all the nations to which He scattered you. Even if you have been banished to the ends of the earth, He will gather you from there."
"The LORD your God will bring you into the land your forefathers possessed, and you will take it. He will cause you to prosper and multiply more than your forefathers. The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live."
"Obey the voice of the LORD and follow all His commandments I am giving you today. So the LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your land. This is a promise from God."
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future."
"Come to me, you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
"But whoever listens to me will dwell in safety, secure from the fear of evil at night. I am leaving you with a gift; peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid."
"And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share His divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires."
"The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."
The gift we freely received is the Holy Ghost, the Teacher who opens our hearts to the truth. He leads us like a Shepherd leads His flock, protecting us from the hungry wolves.
TO FOLLOW GOD
For this commandment I give you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that you may know right from wrong, and good from evil.
See, I have set before you today life, as well as death. For I am commanding you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His commandments, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, but are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, I declare to you today that you will surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land that you are going to possess.
I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. So choose life, that you and your descendants may live, and that you may love the LORD your God, obey Him, and hold fast to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land that the LORD swore to give to your forefathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob."
Following God means we follow the Word of God, and this means we look to Jesus Christ as the Archetype of God. Jesus Christ did not come to destroy God's Spiritual Law, but to fulfill it.
LAW OF GOD
"Whoever has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and intimately reveal Myself to him."
God spoke these words, saying: "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me."
"You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the 3rd and 4th generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain."
"Remember the Sabbath day (7), and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servants, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is in your home."
"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you."
"You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his servant, nor his ox, nor anything that is your neighbor's."
His Disciples asked, "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law of God?"
Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Desire to know God.
WALK WITH GOD
"Show reverence for the word of God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil."
"A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."
"Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits."
"Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
"The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin."
The verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were all evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever practices the truth comes into the Light, so that it may be seen clearly that what he has done has been accomplished in God."
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."
"From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Christ. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father's side, has made Him known."
"What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? Or aren't you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?"
"We therefore were buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life."
"If the Son of God sets you free, you will be free indeed. Free from sin and death."
THE INVITATION
Jesus said, "No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit."
John the Baptists disciples came to him and said, "Look, Teacher, the Jesus you testified about, He is baptizing, and everyone is going to Him. This water symbolizes baptism that saves you - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience before the Father. It saves you by the resurrection of Christ in you."
"Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! Do not call to mind the former things; pay no attention to things of old."
"I will give you a new heart and put a new Spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. This is My gift to you."
"Now go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
The Holy Spirit within you will guide you, convict you of sin, and give you His heavenly wisdom.
THE WISE MAN
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against it; yet it did not fall, because the foundation was built strong."
"For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in words only taught by the Spirit of God."
When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were astonished at His teaching, because He taught as one who had full authority. If the Son of God called you to follow Him, you can be sure of the fact that He will lead you.
"EVERY KNEE WILL BOW"
JESUS CHRIST IS KING
